HS6601

General Description

The HS6601 is a single chip high performance SOC solution for Bluetooth 2.4G systems, which integrate Bluetooth baseband and FM radio, together with rich peripheral IO extension. HS6601 support 3 low power modes for energy consumption, this SOC target on wireless audio applications. 

HS6601 on-chip Bluetooth system Compliant with version 4.1 and EDR function, support all Bluetooth standard 4.1 feature, the integrate audio CODEC support 1 way MIC input, auto sound volume adjustment, auto echo cancellation (AEC), static and dynamic back ground noise reduction.

The chip integrate 192Mhz MCU, full speed USB 2.0 with USB host, SD 2.0 interface ,DMA, GPIO, I2S, i2C, SPI, UART, TIMER, RTC, ADC, watch dog, support 16/24Mhz external crystal, integrate multi-purpose 10 bit ADC.

The HS6601 integrate on chip 16KB ROM, support multi point connection, user define IDE system, on chip SFLASH MCU development and USB/SD/JTAG software upgrade.

Chip applications

The main application of HS6601 is wireless Bluetooth audio. HS6601recieves audio data form air via Bluetooth interface and drive speaker. The application block diagram is shown as below.

HS6601 is a low power Bluetooth wireless transceiver chip; include Bluetooth data transmitter and receiver, the audio data is play back via audio CODEC. The chip integrates Bluetooth base band PHY and frequency synthesizer, which is controlled by a RISC MCU. The MCU connect system hardware resource by AHB bus interface, boot ROM, RAM, DMA SFLASH, GPIO, USB and SD memory interface exchange data by this bus connection, all other peripheral is connected via AHB to APB Bridge and controlled by APB bus interconnection.

Chip description
